An Orthodox Jewish female Knesset member announced this week her engagement to a wonderful man, to the public, according to a statement released by her office.
The most desired unmarried Knesset member, MK Tzipi Hotovely, who was sweared into office as a member of the 19th Knesset on Tuesday, is now engaged to be married, after she and her partner, attorney Latid Ohr Alon, 30, decided to formalize their relationship and take it to the next level.
Saturday night, Hotovely’s status on her facebook page writing: “Latid and I got engaged. Thank you all for your good wishes.” In just several minutes she got many responses, greetings and more than a thousand likes.
Hotovely serves as the Chairwoman of the Knesset Committee on the Status of women. According to reports, Latid popped the question in the middle of last week, but it took time to finalize after waiting for the approval of both families.
