(Scroll down for video) When she signed up for the gym she had no clue of all the sexualized exercises going on during classes.
A Dallas, Texas, woman is suing LA Fitness, after she said that two trainers forced her into exercises that were sexually suggestive and behaved inappropriately towards her.
Jaimie Johnson said her problems began when she saw a trainer at the gym in Plano, and she made her do exercises that she felt were inappropriate.
“He replied bluntly: ‘So, I can see your chest movement as you do it,’” Johnson said the trainer replied when asked about the exercises and not in an exercise kind of way. It was more in a sexual way.
Johnson applied for a new trainer, which she said also made lewd comments to her. She said the trainer even sent her a vulgar text, which was opened by her 5-year-old son.
When Johnson complained to the corporate offices of the company, she said she was offered $400. Her lawyers said in the lawsuit that Johnson suffered traumatic emotional distress and could not work through her daily activities. They also claimed that her husband suffered from this as well.
“I wish these guys realize that they cannot treat women in this way,” Johnson told a local television news station.
