(Scroll down for video) A man ran into some bad luck after he mistakenly allowed police to listen into his drug deal, according to police reports in Florida.
Authorities said that a tow truck driver was jailed after his phone pocket dialed police and dispatchers listened into a conversation about drug sales.
Deputies said that 19-year-old Matthew Dollarhide was surprised when an assistant Volusia County Sheriff arrested him Tuesday night and asked him about his conversation with two passengers.
The local Florida newspaper reported that police identified the location of the cell phone and sent deputies to investigate. From the conversation, dispatchers learned that he was driving a tow truck.
Deputies said they found a crack pipe on Dollarhide. The man in the city of Orange, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He told police the pipe belonged to his father.
Maybe people will now learn to set their cell phone to the lock position to prevent their cell phone from dialing unwanted people who can in turn listen into their private conversations.
