(Scroll down for video) Brooklyn College went through with its sponsoring of an anti-Israel event at its college campus, despite severe criticism from politicians.

Now, Brooklyn College is facing a new scandal after four Jewish students were evicted during the controversial anti-Israel forum.
A senior student, Melanie Goldberg, and three others were escorted out of the event, which featured the founder of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, by security officials shortly after it began.

“The point of having this debate was that it would be an open forum where academics would be allowed to ask questions,” Goldberg, who is studying journalism, said. “So I came prepared to ask questions,” she added.

But when Goldberg took out her questions to deliver them to the keynote speaker, BDS founder Omar Barghouti, she was asked by a member of the Students for Justice in Palestine, which organized the event, to hand over all her pamphlets.

“Someone came to me and said: ‘Give me all your papers, or you will be expelled from the event'” she recalled. “Not only is it a violation of my freedom of speech, but they made sure to shut me up,” she added.

“Based on official reports, they were being very disruptive,” university spokesperson Jeremy Thompson, said. “They were asked to keep quiet so as not to disturb other attendees around. After not complying with orders, they were escorted out of the building,” he added.

Goldberg responded that their version is a “blatant lie”.
