(Scroll down for video) Thousands of spiders were suddenly seen falling from the sky in Brazil, according to video uploaded to the internet.

Erick Reis left an engagement party in Santo Antonio da Plantina, Brazil, when he looked up and saw thousands of spiders surrounding him in the air.

It’s a nightmare for people who suffer from phobias, to be surrounded by thousands of spiders.
However, the 20-year-old web designer from Brazil, fearlessly faced down the crawling creatures when he left an engagement party in Santo Antonio da Plantina.

Video captured by Erick Reis shows thousands of very large spiders distributing spider webs between the poles, giving the appearance of insects falling from the sky.

It is believed that colonial spiders live in large communities and catch their prey inside their huge webs.
“Given that these spiders do not eat people there was nothing for me to worry about, so I grabbed my smart phone and began recording them,” Reis told a local television news station.
