A convicted anti Semite caused an uproar in Brooklyn, New York, after he was seen dressed up as a Hasidic Jew, according to press reports in New York.

Disgraced and convicted fashion designer, John Galliano, sparked a new round of outrage yesterday, as he dressed as a Hasid to attend the Oscar de la Renta Fashion Week show in New York.

The fashion designed stepped outside with long jacket, a hat and curly side locks twists, after leaving a friend’s apartment on the way to Manhattan’s de la Renta design studio on West 42nd street.
His attire surprised Jewish leaders in New York.

“He’s trying to embarrass people in the Jewish community and make money on clothing, while dressed as people whom he has insulted,” Williamsburg community leader, Isaac Abraham, complained. “It seems that the hairstyle was done purposely to add insult,” he added.

“Who is he making fun of?” Brooklyn Assemblyman, Dov Hikind, asked. “The way he looked with the socks, jacket, peyos, my question is, who’s laughing?” He added.

“If it was just any other person, I would not know what to say. But considering who this guy is, considering his background and what he has said in the past, he needs to explain it to all of us, are you making fun of us”? Hikind fumed.

Galliano was fired from Christian Dior in 2011, after a viral video showed him saying: “I love Hitler” in a Paris cafe. He was convicted in France of making racist insults in public and was rejected by the fashion industry.
