Mother disrupts school assembly after stripping on stage

(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested and charged with public nudity and child endangerment related charges after stripping naked on stage during a school assembly, according to police reports in New York.

Police said that a mother who took to the stage and began to undress at a New York State school assembly faces charges of endangering children and lewdness.

Albany Police said that they arrested 24-year-old Aydrea Meaders, at North Albany Academy around 10:30 am Friday.
They said that school staff told the assembly to stop and cleared the room after Meaders began dancing on stage and removed part of her clothing. The school was holding a celebration for black history month.

She is charged with seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one charge of public lewdness.
An employee of Albany City Court said that Meaders was arraigned Friday afternoon and ordered held on $3,000 bail.
The North Albany Academy is a pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school in the district of Albany.
