(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after duct taping several children’s heads, according to police reports in Ohio.

The Ohio mom pleaded not guilty to two counts of child neglect after wrapping duct tape around children’s heads.

Police said that Tiffany Ennis, 31, of Sandusky, Ohio, sent a text message with a photo of her son, 8, with his forehead, eyes and mouth wrapped in duct tape to the child’s father. Fearing for the safety of his son, Rudy Yado contacted police and asked officers to check on the child in Ennis’ house, according to the police report.

Ennis told police that she was playing with the tape along with her friend and her children and that she had wrapped tape on her child’s eyes and mouth. She told police that she thought it was funny, the report said.
Only the boy’s nose was exposed.

She also wrapped the head of an 11-year-old girl, according to the police report. The report did not identify the parents of the girl.

According to the report, Ennis told police that the children were not injured and there were no marks on them. Ennis said she was not meant to be hurtful and was joking, said the report.

In investigating the complaint, Newell said that Ennis was later arrested for duct-taping the children’s heads and eyes, and transported to the Sandusky Police Department. She was released on bail.
