(Scroll down for video) Yoely Lebovits became a popular comedian among the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.
Lebovits is known for his ability to imitate people especially those with an Hungarian accent.
Lebovits is the son of the famous rabbi of Nickelsburg, from Monsey, New York, therefore he chose his own title as rabbi.
Lebovits, is often referred to the Pester rebbe, referring to the city Budapest located in Hungary, because of his acts in imitating people in Hungary.
Lebovits, has a unique style of comedy, he uses weird accents and many times he acts as if he is ignorant. Somehow, people love his comedy. Lebovits gets hired to do comedy shows at many ultra-Orthodox Jewish celebrations.
In the video below, Lebovits has teamed up with Jay Buchsbaum, who is a wine specialist. Buchsbaum, tries to teach Lebovits how to open a bottle of wine so he can show off his ability to his friends at synagogue on Shabbat.
Lebovits, has been entertaining at Jewish events since 1997. It started with impromptu performances at celebrations of friends and family.
By now, Lebovits has traveled many countries to entertain Jewish people such as Canada, the U.K., Belgium, Israel, and even to countries like Scotland, Spain and Greece.
He also visits hospitals to make people laugh and cheer them up.
