(Scroll down for video) A prisoner, is in trouble after he tried to smuggle a cell phone into prison.
The prisoner in Sri Lanka, pushed a cell phone up his behind where he thought it would be safe for smuggling.
The 58-year-old prisoner knew that it is forbidden to have a cellphone inside prison therefore he hid the phone inside his behind.
But he made on big mistake as he forgot to shut the phone off or at least put it on vibrate. While guards did their regular prisoner checks they heard a phone ringing from the man’s behind.
He was taken to the Colombo National Hospital, where a physician took x-rays to locate the phone. Then the physician retrieved the phone from his rectum. He was in the hospital for two days for observation. He was then discharged and taken back to jail.
The man had hidden the phone inside his bottom, unfortunately for him, the phone rang at the wrong place, at the wrong time and the prison guards learned that he is smuggling a phone.
According to reports, the man is serving a ten-year sentence for robbery. He might spend more time in prison if charges are added for smuggling the phone into prison.
