Some parents, expect their kids to grow up fast. It is a parent’s job to teach their children to be responsible and productive. But the tasks given must be age appropriate, or the child’s life can be in danger.
One mother, was arrested after she allowed her three-year-old son to pump gas into her gas tank.
A child who should have still been in a car seat, was seen pumping gas into his mother’s car.
Theresa Moran Camera, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was teaching her son a valuable life skill, by making him filling the gas tank of her car. But unfortunately, a lot of the gas spilled on the 3-year-old boy.
The boy managed to squeeze the nozzle to fill the tank, but he continued to squeeze the nozzle after he removed it from the gas tank causing it to spill on him.
Other customers at the gas station were outraged when they saw the three-year-old handle the gas pump, so they wrote down the mother’s licence plate number and they called police.
Comara drove off with her son, but she was tracked down by the police through her licence plate number which was provided to police by witnesses.
Comara was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
