(Scroll down for video) If you thought that Batman and Robin only fight crime in Gotham City you were mistaken, according to police reports in the United Kingdom.

A mysterious man dressed as Batman demonstrated the same abilities to fight crime as the Caped Crusader when he handed over a suspect wanted for theft in the United Kingdom.

Security video captured the scene of a man wearing an ill-fitting suit, gloves, cape and mask, bringing a 27-year-old man to a police station in Bradford, which is located in northern England.

The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of stolen goods and fraud-related offenses, police said. But the costumed crime fighter disappeared into the night without leaving his name.

“The person who brought the wanted suspect to the police station wore a full Batman suit,” a spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police, said. “His identity, however, remains unknown,” the spokesperson added.

The suspect was handed over in the early hours of the morning, police said. Police released photos of the incident the next day.
