The New York Department of Transportation has released a list of Brooklyn’s most deadliest roads, according to a press release by the department.
Among the most dangerous roads were Ocean Parkway, Eastern Parkway and Bedford Avenue, according to the report.
The most dangerous road in Brooklyn for pedestrians is Ocean Parkway, according to the new study.
Drivers killed six people on the street that runs between Prospect Park and Coney Island between 2009 and 2011. The death toll for Brooklyn overall stood at 132, from 2009 to 2011.
Three of the six people killed were in the Kensington part of Ocean Parkway, between Church and Ditmas Avenues, where two adults and a person of 60-years-old died.
The second most dangerous road on the list was Eastern Parkway, were 5 people were killed.
Also on the list was Bedford Avenue, which saw 4 people killed from 2009 to 2011.
All three roads run through areas that are heavily populated by ultra-Orthodox Jews.
