(Scroll down for video) A busy Nevada highway was suddenly covered in Heinz Ketchup, according to video uploaded to the internet.

It looked a lot worse than it was. A semi truck with thousands of bottles of Heinz Ketchup crashed on I-80 near Reno, Nevada, leaving large red pools of tomato paste all over the busy road.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, but traffic quickly became backed up on Thursday. Sergeant Janay Sherven of the Nevada Highway Patrol told a local newspaper: “I saw red all over the road. No not from bodies, just ketchup.”

Police believe the accident occurred when the truck driver swerved to avoid a car. The truck collided with the median of the highway and hit a light pole, which in turn opened the side of the trailer.

Then came the tomato sauce. Lots and lots of ketchup. State transportation officials used plows to clean the dirty road. All the ketchup ended up in a landfill.
