(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested and charged after leaving feces inside the appliances of a family home, according to press reports in New York.

The home health aide became angry when a Connecticut family fired her from her job so she left feces in the oven and refrigerator of their elderly relative, police said.

Forty-year-old Fiona Clarke faces criminal conduct and breach of the peace charges. Police said she denies leaving feces in the house of a Norwalk woman.

Clarke took care of the woman, but was dismissed by the family last month after refusing to work overtime, officials said.
One of the relatives of the woman lit the stove in the beginning of the month and noticed a foul odor. When she opened the stove she found feces wrapped in a paper towel, police said. Feces was also found in the refrigerator, police said.

Clarke was arrested last week and was released after posting a $5,000 bond, according to court records. She is due in Norwalk Superior Court this week.
