(Scroll down for video) A Ukrainian Jewish billionaire, owner of a fast growing Jewish media empire was nearly killed in a bomb attack, according to police reports in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian businessman and the president of the Ukrainian Jewish Congress, Vadim Rabinovich, said on Monday that he has been the target of a car bombing in the center of Kiev.
“On Monday around 3:30 pm, there was an attempt on the life of Vadim Rabinovich,” the website of the Ukrainian Jewish Congress, said in a statement.
The website also said that an explosive device was thrown at Rabinovich’s moving car as the car was driving away from his office, causing windows to smash in nearby buildings.
Kiev police confirmed in a statement that an explosion of an unknown object had caused minor damage to the car, causing no human injuries. Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
