(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested and charged with abuse of emergency services related charges after calling police to demand a delivery of cigarettes to her home, according to police reports in Texas.
The Texas woman wanted to make police officers the butt of the joke, but she chose the wrong audience when she called police to get cigarettes delivered to her home.
Hood County Lieutenant sheriff Kathy Jividen said that the 48-year-old female, was very intoxicated when she requested the special delivery in the beginning of this month.
Jividen said that the caller instead was visited by two police officers and was arrested. She was charged with a misdemeanor charge of abuse of the 911 system. She was released after posting $1,000 bail at the Hood County Jail.
The woman lives in Granbury, which is located about 65 miles southwest of Dallas.
Jividen said that the woman thought it would be fun to call police to place her order.
The woman was later identified as Linda White. She later apologized for what she did.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
