(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested and charged with breach of trust related charges after stealing hundreds of boxes of cookies, according to police protest in South Carolina.
The South Carolina man has been accused of taking about $19,000 worth of Girl Scout cookies from a storage in Spartanburg.
37-year-old Christopher Maurice Morton is accused of breach of trust over $10,000.
The owner of Carey Moving and Storage reported more than 450 cases of Girl Scout cookies were taken from their premises several weeks ago.
Brian Carey said that cookies began arriving at the storage in the middle of last month and employees performing an inventory check last week realized that cases of Thin Mints and Shortbreads were missing.
A law enforcement official, said that Morton was a truck driver for the business. He has been fired. Sheriff’s deputies of Greenville County found 352 cases of Girl Scout cookies left behind at an unused business location.
