To this man, Barbie is not only a staple of childhood, but a way of life.

Since 1997, Stanley Colorite, “The Barbie Man” has collected everything and anything related to the iconic doll and has amassed an impressive collection of over 2,000 Barbies.

The collection of dolls are worth, according to his estimate, about $80,000.
His Florida home is where he showcased his entire collection. It covers the walls from floor to ceiling.

His collection is not limited to the doll itself, he also acquired a lot of accessories, including a Barbie pink corvette and anything else the doll could want.

“Anything that I find in a garage sale that has the Barbie in it, I buy it,” Stanley said.
His most expensive Barbie called ‘The Pink Splendor’ cost him $975, but he knows a good deal when he sees one. He bought a vintage Barbie for just $4 at a garage sale.

“I think it was $4. The woman thought it was a reproduction. I played right along,” he told a television news station.
After 16 years of collecting Barbies, Stanley has no plans to slow down anytime soon.

He still goes to Barbie conventions and garage sales. He is also always on the hunt for a Barbie he does not yet own.
“Barbie is not just for girls. It is for anyone who enjoys quality,” he said.

While dolls have overtaken his bedroom, he is happy to share the space.
“You wake up in a good mood, because there is always beauty around you,” Stanley told the television news station.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
