The Melbourne, Australian teenager has been recorded risking his life by climbing out from the window of a moving train and hanging from it as it traveled at high speed.
The alarming display of courage was recorded on Friday night, when a car full of teenagers made their way home from the under-18 Good Life music festival held at Flemington Racecourse.
The recording, that was provided to a television station showed a shirtless reveler hanging precariously from the fast moving train as other passengers watch in surprise.
Sometimes, the teen is seen hanging by one hand.
Later in the video, the boy raised his middle finger to other travelers who yelled “You’re an ***hole.”
It is not known if the teenager has been charged with dangerous acrobatics, which could have also earned him a fine from the railway authorities of Victoria.
Last January, a Melbourne teenager who boasted online that he was “Kelly Slater of train surfing”, died when he came into contact with overhead power lines while riding on the roof of a train in the southeastern city.
His father, Tim Wilkinson, said at the time that he hoped the death of his 17-year-old son, James Wilkinson, would serve as a warning to other young thrill-seekers.
“If something can come out of it, it’s this message to young children. They should learn from this not to take an unnecessary risk, especially when they’ve been having a drink, because the risk taking just gets worse,” Wilkinson said.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
