A woman was arrested and charged with assault related charges after knocking out an eye of another woman during a fight, according to press reports.
The incident happened during an extreme girl on girl fight, according to police reports.
Talicia Kiavonna Morrison, 20, fled the scene and left Cherry Webster screaming in pain in Austin, Texas, witnesses said.
“They were known to each other. I’m sure some kind of drama was going on,” a police officer responding to the scene, said.
Police responded to an emergency call from Webster. She told authorities that Morrison “grabbed her face, caught her eye and dug her fingers in there that caused the eyeball out of its socket.”
Webster also described the vehicle Morrison used to escape, allowing officers to track her down and bring her to the police station for questioning.
“She admitted to getting into the altercation, but did not know the damage she had caused in the fight,” the police officer said.
When pressed, Morrison speculated that she could have gouged out her eye with her fingernails, according to an affidavit.
Morrison, whose bail was set at $70,000, faces a second-degree felony aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury charge.
