Seven Palestinian children were injured in an explosion in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip last week, medical sources said.
The suspected rocket landed near a house in the Al-Salam neighborhood of Rafah and exploded, causing injuries.
Seven children were playing nearby, according to sources quoted by the radio as saying.
The children were between five and 10-years-old, and their injuries were light to moderate, the source added. One child had his fingers blown off but were reattached by doctors.
The children were taken to the martyr Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar hospital in Rafah. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
