(Scroll down for video) Several Palestinian terrorists were arrested and charged with terror related charges after they were caught on video firing at passing cars driving in the West Bank, according to video uploaded to the internet.
The Israeli army released the video on Thursday showing two members of the Tanzim group opening fire at cars traveling in the West Bank. The shooting incident took place in last month.
Once the video cameras spotted the shooters, an IDF unit arrived and arrested the terrorists.
The terrorists, five men between 23 and 31-years-old, were arrested for questioning by the Shin Bet, Israel’s investigative body, and were recently charged.
The men, residents of the village near Bethlehem called Beit Fajr, confessed to have been behind a few shooting incidents targeting Israelis in the West Bank and hurling firebombs throughout the region.
The terrorists were also found to possess IEDs.
“I feel safer traveling the roads in the West Bank now that the IDF is finally taking action to stop terrorist activity on the highways of the West Bank,” Moshe Ben-Ami, a Jewish resident in the West Bank, told YourJewishNews.com.
According to the Shin Bet, Beit Fajr has been the hub of terrorist activity, and about 50 arrests related to terrorism were made in the village in recent weeks.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
