(Scroll down for video) Girls have always been known as “Daddy’s girl.”
Father’s love their daughters and many would go out of their way to keep their daughters happy.
Now, Skechers is playing on that fatherly love by targeting young girls with their ‘Daddy’$ Money’ line of shoes and it has caused controversy.
Skechers is under fire for marketing a shoe called “Daddy’$ Money” for teenagers. The “s” of Daddy’s money is a dollar sign.
The message to young girls is “Get spoiled with Daddy’s money.” The shoe sells for between $50 and $80.
Some people are angry with the name of the shoes and are going as far a calling it sexist, since nowadays with the bad economy and with the ever growing single mom households, many moms are the ones paying the bill for their children’s clothing and shoes.
