(Scroll down for video) A woman who agreed to be a surrogate was upset when the biological parents asked her to abort baby, so she fled until the baby was born.

Crystal Kelley, 29, who has two children of her own, decided to become a surrogate mother after she fell into financial problems.

Kelley was paid $22,000 to be the surrogate mother for a baby of a Connecticut couple.

When she was five months pregnant an ultrasound revealed that the baby will be deformed and will have many medical issues.

Doctors told the mother that the child has a 25 percent chance to live a normal life. That is when the biological parents made the heartbreaking decision to abort their baby.

They offered Kelley $10,000 to abort the baby. At first, Kelley asked for $15,000 to abort the baby but when the couple refused to hand over the money Kelley changed her mind and refused to have an abortion.

The surrogate mother refused to end the pregnancy despite the wishes of the parents who did not want their baby to suffer all its life.

Kelley is strongly religious. She feels that “every effort should be made to give the baby a chance.” Therefore, she fled to Michigan.
The baby girl was born with many serious medical problems and was given up for adoption.

The baby only known as baby S. has a condition called heterotaxy, which means many of her internal organs, such as her liver and stomach, are in the wrong places in her body and a long list of complex heart defects. Her right ear is deformed, has a cleft lip and cleft palate.

The baby already had one open-heart surgery and surgery on her intestines. She will need more surgery in the future.
Sadly, doctors claim that if the child does survive, there is a 50 percent chance she won’t be able to walk or talk, according to press reports.
