28-year-old Nathalie Saona, was picking up some last minute items for her unborn baby, when she suddenly went into labor. With the help of other customers she gave birth to the baby in the Walmart store.

Saona was shopping with her sister at Walmart, in Wallkill, New York, when she felt strong pain. The pain was so severe that she was unable to walk.

Customers and employees jumped into action. They took Saona to a bench in the pharmacy department. At that point, it was clear that she was about to deliver the baby.

They cleared the area and brought blankets and pillows to prepare for the birth, according to reports.

A man called police, and the dispatcher walked him through the process, so he can help Saona deliver her baby.

Saona gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Kourtney, who weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and 18.5 inches long.

The mother and daughter were taken to hospital and are doing very well.
