(Scroll down for video) An Ohio teenager will never get out of prison after he received three life sentences for going on a killing spree.

T.J. Lane, 18, pleaded guilty to shooting three students to death, and wounding three others in the Chardon High School cafeteria, east of Cleveland.

Investigators have said he admitted to the shooting, but he claims that he does not know why he did it.

At sentencing, Lane showed no remorse, instead, he was very disrespectful to the court and to the family of the deceased.

In court, he unbuttoned his blue dress shirt to show off his t-shirt with the words “killer” written across it.

He was smiling and gesturing obscenely. “The hand that pulled the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates to their memory,” he said.

At first, the case was heard in juvenile court where the judge ruled that Lane was mentally competent to stand trial despite evidence that he suffered from hallucinations, psychosis and fantasies. The case was then transferred to regular court.

Lane had pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault.
He was not eligible for the death penalty because he was 17 at the time of the shooting.
