(Scroll down for video) A gas station worker found a pair of eyes in a box at a garbage can.

The worker, at a Conoco gas station was shocked when he found the pair of eyes. The worker at a Kansas City, Missouri gas station found the box which was labeled “keep refrigerated.” When he opened the box he saw what appeared to be human eyeballs. The man called police.

Police are searching for the customers who were seen on surveillance camera leaving the box on the trash can.

Surveillance video showed two men in a blue Toyota, with Nebraska plates leaving the package on top of the trash can.
“This is the weirdest thing I ever heard being found at a gas station,” a customer at the gas station told YourJewishNews.com.

There is an eye bank a few kilometers away from the gas station. Police officer called the eye bank as well as local hospitals so see if someone was waiting for a pair of eyes.

But no eye banks or hospitals in the area was expecting a delivery of eyeballs.

The package was transported to the medical examiner’s office in Jackson County for safekeeping until the authorities are able to investigate further.

It is unclear at this time if the eyes are human, or if any criminal activity is involved.
