(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested, charged and convicted of murder related charges after killing an Israeli man and his infant son while driving on a road, according to court proceedings in Israel.
A military court convicted Palestinian terrorist Wael Salaman Mohammed el-Arjeh from the Palestinian controlled Hebron, for the murder of Asher Palmer and his infant son Yonatan, several years ago.
While driving on Highway 60, a road connecting Jewish settlements in the West Bank, near Kiryat Arba, el-Arjeh and his partner Ali threw a large stone at Palmer’s oncoming car, causing the car to crash, killing both the father and son.
el-Arjeh was convicted of an additional 25 counts of attempted murder for other stone throwing attacks. Ali’s trial is still ongoing.
“It is good that the Palmer family finally received some justice after the initial refusal to admit that the two were murdered,” Baruch Tamar, 39, of Efrat, Israel told YourJewishNews.com.
The Israeli police initially classified the incident as an accident.
A third Palestinian Shehada Shatat Shehada Awad, who witnessed the attack was sentenced for 10 months after having looted Asher Palmer’s belongings after he died. The Palestinian stole Palmer’s gun and did not call for help. In the video below you can see how the terrorists are brought to court.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
