(Scroll down for video) A group of people were seen racing down a hill on office chairs, according to video uploaded to the internet.

A contestant dressed as Santa Claus has earned the right to call himself the undisputed champion of office chair racing after crossing the finish line first at the annual office racing championship game.

This year’s race saw 24 contestants who participated in eight teams in the capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen.

The rules for the race are simple, you race down a hill on top of your furniture with wheels in an attempt to cross the finish line first.

To protect the contestants from bruises and bumps, all must wear helmets, along with knee and elbow pads.
The champion of the office chair race this year was Celli Shenar.

Despite the fact that he was dressed in a character famous for giving gifts, there seemed to be nothing charitable about Shenar while shooting his way down to victory.

Other riders wore costumes and one woman even donned a Spiderman costume.
The multi colored chairs, sponsored and donated by a group of companies, often spun around as the drivers progressed down the hill at the Copenhagen Valby Bakke.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
