(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested and charged with numerous charges after stabbing his mother.
After the stabbing, he kidnapped his mother, took her to a bridge and pushed her off, according to a statement released by police in New Mexico.
New Mexico authorities said that the man of the city of Albuquerque, stabbed and kidnapped his mother, then tossed her off the bridge into the Rio Grande.
Authorities also said that 26-year-old Martin Montano was arrested Tuesday after witnesses reported seeing 61-year-old Hope Montano falling off the bridge in Albuquerque, in broad daylight. Another victim, Francisco Dominguez, was beaten and stabbed. He was found on the side of the road near the bridge.
Police said the victims, who were severely injured, are in stable condition at a hospital in Albuquerque.
A criminal complaint said that Martin Montano told police that the couple were “clones” of his family and his real family lived underground. He was charged with attempted murder and aggravated robbery.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
