(Scroll down for video) A TSA agent at Los Angeles Airport cause outrage after telling a young girl to dress more modestly.

The father of the girl said that the TSA agent at Los Angeles International Airport told his teenage daughter to “cover up” herself before she boarded her flight.

The girl’s father, Mark Frauenfelder, who posted about the incident on Sunday night, said that the TSA agent “humiliated and embarrassed my 15-year-old daughter.”

He said that his daughter, who was with other high school students on a college tour, described the incident to him with a text message.

“I was at the terminal where the TSA check IDs,” Frauenfelder wrote. “She said that the officer was looking at her and whispering. She said, ‘Excuse me?’ and he said: ‘You’re only 15, cover yourself’, in a hostile tone. She said she was shocked by his abusive behavior,” the father wrote.

Although, he said it should not matter what she was wearing, Frauenfelder included a photo of his daughter of that day. The photo shows her wearing long pants and a tank top that was just shy of reaching her pants with a flannel overshirt. Her outfit was just like hundreds of other passengers on a given day.

“It does not matter what she wore because it is not his business to tell the girls what they should or should not wear. His creepy thoughts are his problem, and he should not use his position of authority as an excuse to humiliate girls and blame them for his sick attitude,” the father wrote.

Frauenfelder said he and his wife met with TSA at the airport. The TSA said that they are opening an investigation.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
