(Scroll down for video) A wedding dress speaks volumes about the bride and her sense of style.
While most brides wear the traditional white fluffy gown, others choose colored gowns or something else that makes them unique.
One city came up with an attention grabber, a gown made entirely of condoms with a fitted bodice and flowing train.
Shoalhaven City Council in Australia, displayed the gown made of condoms, in an exhibit at the council’s Entertainment Centre, with the aim of creating awareness about condom their use after an increase in rates of chlamydia.
In the past six months, the region has seen an increase of sexually transmitted diseases, with a 75 percent increase in women and 61 percent increase in men.
The council is trying to solve a real problem and ensure the health of the local community. They want to draw more attention and discussions to the issue of STDs and the importance of safe sex practices.
In the video below you will see a collection of dresses made out of condoms.
