(Scroll down for video) A man called police to complain about a prostitute who was ugly.

The man of West Midlands, United Kingdom, called police to complain that he was deceived by a woman after she claimed to be good-looking.

The man contacted officers and he wanted to press charges against the woman for breaching the “Sale of Goods Act” for making herself out to be better looking than she was. A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We got a call on Tuesday at 7:30 pm. The caller said he had been with a sex worker outside a hotel and did not like the way she looked.”

The man told police that he asked the woman to describe herself before they met. Turns out that she looked nothing as the person she described, and he felt cheated. When he raised this issue with the woman she allegedly became angry and took the car keys. She ran out of the car and then threw the keys at him, prompting him to call the police.

An officer advised the man that no crimes were committed by the woman, but soliciting sex, was in fact, illegal.

The “Sale of Goods Act” was put in place to give consumers legal rights, establishing the products sold must be of satisfactory quality, and must match the sellers description. A prostitute misrepresenting her looks does not fall under that category.
