(Scroll down for video) A teen was arrested and charged with child sex assault related charges after she allegedly had sex with an underage girl, according to court proceedings in Florida.
Now, the woman was sent to jail after she violated an order of protecting.
Kaitlyn Hunt, 19, found herself back in jail, on the eve of a hearing on her sex assault case.
Hunt was booked into the Indian River County Jail about 9:00 pm on Monday, Sergeant Thomas Raulen, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office of Indian River County, said.
Hunt’s plea deal, which promised her no jail time, was canceled after it was discovered that she had been in communication with the victim.
At Tuesday’s hearing, she is facing the possibility of additional criminal charges.
Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar said his detectives have completed their investigation and gave their testimony to prosecutors.
Hunt was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child, which was 14-years-old at the time.
Hunt was charged in February, and was jailed. She posted $5,000 bond and was released with a court order prohibiting her from contacting the victim.
Under Florida law, it is illegal for an older teen to have sex with an underage teen, even though the relationship is consensual.
Investigators said that Hunt sent 20,000 text messages to the victim.
Prosecutors also said the mother of Hunt, Kelley Hunt Smith, had been in communication with the victim, telling the victim to delete the texts so no one would find out about them.
The young victim’s parents eventually found out about it and contacted police.
According to court documents, the girl spoke and met with the Hunt until just three weeks ago.
