If you have a habit for missing the toilet bowl you will now face police fines in one city in China, according to a statement released by officials.
Police said that people with bad aim will be fined if they leave a mess after using a public toilet in a Chinese city.
The penalty will apply to those who urinate outside the toilet bowl in facilities in Shenzhen, the booming southern city neighboring Hong Kong. Officials did not specify a minimum amount of spill needed to be classified as a violation.
“Those caught urinating outside of the toilet bowl in a public restroom will be fined 100 yuan, or about $16 by the authorities, starting next month,” an official of the city government said on Tuesday.
