(Scroll down for video) A juice company was slapped with a lawsuit after allegedly making false claims about its drinks, according to court proceedings in the United States.
Now, the company has decided to settle the lawsuit.
If you purchased a Naked Juice product during the last six years, you are entitled to some cash. As part of the settlement of the class action lawsuit for alleged misuse of health phrases, the parent company, PepsiCo, agreed to pay $9 million.
The lawsuit claimed that Naked Juice fraudulently used phrases like “100% Juice”, “100% fruit”, “from Concentrate”, “All Natural”, and “All Natural Fruit,” among other phrases.
PepsiCo refuted these claims, but agreed to distribute up to $75 to each consumer who purchased Naked Juice.
The company also said that it will stop using these phrases on its Naked Juice products.
