Now, anyone from around the world can send a personal Shana Tova wish to Israeli soldiers, according to a report by the IDF Blog.

Just because it’s the holiday season in Israel does not mean the Israel Defense Forces gets to take a break.

The IDF must always be prepared. As a result, IDF soldiers will still be standing on guard and doing any work necessary to keep Israel safe so the rest of Israel can be home with their family and friends, bringing in the new year with holiday feasts and the most intense prayers of the year.

Don’t let our soldiers’ sacrifice go unappreciated! With the help of Twitter, you now have the chance to personally thank IDF soldiers and wish them a “Shana Tova,” the Jewish New Year greeting for a good year ahead. Simply follow the instructions in the above photo.
