(Scroll down for video) Attention beer lovers. Now you can enjoy a beer that is truly out of this world.
Celest-jewel-ale, a beer invented by geniuses of Milton, Delaware-based brewery Dogfish Head, is made with real lunar meteorites.
This is how the beer is made: Meteorites were acquired from the engineering firm ILC Dover, which makes space suits for NASA. Then, the rocks are crushed into powder and soaked just like tea at the Oktoberfest beer brewery.
According to the Dogfish Head website, the meteorites give it a unique flavor.
These moon jewels are mainly composed of minerals and salts, helping the process of induced yeast fermentation and providing this traditional German style beer a complex yet subtle earthiness.
Unfortunately for beer lovers, the beer is only available for purchase at Dogfish Head Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
