Five Arab teens were arrested and charged with rioting and vandalism, after attacking a Jewish family’s home in Jerusalem’s Old City, according to police reports.
Jerusalem Police said that five local Arab teenagers, all aged between 14 and 15, have been accused of an anti-Semitic attack after targeting the house of a Jewish family in the Old City.
The teens are accused of property damage motivated by racism, attempted assault motivated by racism, and rioting.
The teens met one afternoon and conspired to throw stones into the Jewish home. The teens all surrounded the house of the Jewish family where the parents and their eight children were sleeping, according to court documents.
The teens, who all covered their faces, threw bricks at the windows of the home.
Two teens tried to break the door of the house. The teens also tried to set the house on fire.
The teens set fire to boxes at the door of the home.
The attackers fled from the scene when police arrived.
The attack caused damage to the house, but no one was injured.
