(Scroll down for video) Rihanna was slapped with a multi-million shekel lawsuit after she came late to her own concert, according to court proceedings in Israel.
The thirteen million shekel lawsuit was filed in the Tel Aviv District Court and was classified as a class action lawsuit.
The lawsuit seeks to recover damages from the concert organizers, Shay Moore Yoseph and Guy Besser.
The lawsuit claims that organizers did not provide consumers with services for the full value of the price of the tickets.
“The show started an hour and ten minutes late, while the audience stood waiting for the singer with great frustration, hurt and anger,” the lawsuit states.
“We wish to note that we arranged the best service regarding security, parking, direction, stage, sound and all other things we were responsible for. Unfortunately, the international singer arrived late to the show. We regret that, but we had nothing to do with the delay. We want to stress that despite the delay, 50,000 Israelis were at the show. We understand that some were not satisfied, but we think the majority enjoyed it,” the Israeli producers of the Rihanna concert said in a statement.
