(Scroll down for video) A woman was subjected to very cruel treatment in jail by police officers.

Prison security cameras captured the actions of police officers, who for no apparent reason, undressed a woman and left her that way.

Dana Holmes, 33, of Coal City, Illinois, is suing LaSalle County prison authorities for the incident. Holmes was arrested for drunk driving, then, she was forcibly stripped and left naked in a prison cell.

At first, Holmes was striped searched by a female officer when she allegedly became belligerent.

Three deputies threw her to the ground and then all of the officers carried her into a prison cell. She was then stripped naked before the deputies left the cell with her clothes. They returned a few minutes later with a blanket and a padded suit.

Holmes’ lawyer said that the officers committed official misconduct by stripping her without justification.

The police report said the woman’s blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit, and that she was loud and uncooperative, but does not mention why the woman was striped and left naked in the cell for a while.
