A mother was arrested after her baby was found crushed to death between two mattresses.
21-year-old Tori Alexandria Pease of Hall, Tennessee, has been charged in the death of her baby.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Pease was arrested on Monday, on charges of aggravated child endangerment, in the death of her 7-months-old son Haiden Colvin.
Investigators said that Pease slept on a mattress on the floor next to another mattress where her other children were sleeping.
Pease told Investigators that she awoke to find her baby between the two mattresses, and he was not responsive.
An ambulance took the baby to the Baptist Lauderdale hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Pease has been booked into jail and later released after she posted $1,000 bond.
