(Scroll down for video) A baby was found to be alive after he was pronounced dead and being taken to a funeral home to be cremated.

The baby had been admitted to a hospital after he was suffering from pneumonia and breathing problems.

A doctor at a children’s hospital in Anhui Province, China, had issued a death certificate for the newborn baby after he believed that the child was no longer alive.

The baby was taken to the Hefei Municipal Funeral Home, where he was scheduled to be cremated.

Two days after the child was declared dead and was taken to the funeral home, he suddenly began to cry. Shocked workers called an ambulance and the baby was rushed to the hospital.

The baby is being treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

The doctors were questioned about the incident, but were unable to explain how this happened.

“The baby was not breathing, he had no pulse and the body was cold,” according to the doctor who signed the death certificate.

It looked like the baby was dead, but his life was not over.

Authorities have revoked the medical license of the doctor, who falsely declared the newborn boy dead.
