A Colorado barber was put out of business after offering topless haircuts, according to police reports.
Longmont Police arrested the 46-year-old woman, who is accused of offering topless haircuts at her salons in Johnstown and Loveland. She was charged with running an unlicensed practice of cosmetology, according to court documents.
Suzette Hall, also known as Suzette Dawe, was arrested on Wednesday night, at her home in Loveland by Boulder County Police. She was being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond, police said.
She was also charged with felony criminal impersonation.
Police began investigating Hall after they received complaints about bounced checks.
Witnesses told police that Hall moved to Loveland and “is charging $45 for topless haircuts and is advertising on Craigslist.”
Her former business partner quit after Hall began offering topless services.
Eventually, Hall began offering sex for extra payments, and she also began offering home visits.
Hall has nine previous convictions for offenses including identity theft, vehicle theft, felony theft, and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
