(Scroll down for video) A worker who was repairing a border fence, is dead after being shot by a sniper, according to a report by the Tazpit News Agency.
A 22-years-old Israeli working on the security fence surrounding the Gaza Strip, was shot and severely wounded by a terrorist sniper firing from within the Gaza Strip this afternoon. The worker was fixing the damage caused by the recent storm.
An IAF helicopter was called in to evacuate him. He was taken to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva for treatment where he later died. IDF forces have launched searches for the shooter.
This is the fourth terrorist attack in the past 48 hours.
In June 2012 a worker was killed in a similar attack.
