A new video that was posted on the Internet showed how drunk train passengers in Washington D.C., fell off an escalator and onto the tracks.
The dramatic images showed at least four passengers, each suspected of being intoxicated, suffering falls within the Metro train stations since the beginning of last month.
All survived, but the video showed passengers falling ten feet onto the tracks, platforms and walkways.
The surveillance video, includes images of a man falling from the top of an escalator into the station. The incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m., on Saturday.
The man fell two levels while more than a dozen passengers were seen running toward the victim.
The video also showed a man and woman riding an escalator at 2:28 a.m. After nearing the top of the escalator, the man was seen leaning against the railing before falling off.
Officials said that drunk riders can be a danger to themselves and others
A woman was seen stumbling as she approached the edge of the platform on a Saturday morning. She stopped near the edge before falling onto the tracks.
Good Samaritans pulled her from the tracks about a minute later.
