Deverell, mentioning the district's dress code, said that the rifles on the shirt was problematic and had to be removed from view, McIntyre said.

"My son is very proud of the Marines and of all services," McIntyre said. "So he proudly wore the shirt. The shirt contains two crossed rifles beneath the word Marines, but to me that should be ignored. It's more about the Marines than the guns," the father told a television news station.

McIntyre said his son was initially threatened with suspension before fulfilling the request of Deverell, by turning the shirt around. He has worn the shirt to school many times before without incident, McIntyre said.

"He was upset as he could not understand why the school has a problem with a Marines shirt," he continued. "I could not understand why a teacher would do that," he added.

The office of the fire chief had privately asked Egged to install a fire detection and prevention system on each of its buses, but Egged did not respond.

By: Sarah Weiss

(Scroll down for video)The Jewish nation is a tiny minority in the world. Yet, Jews have contributed a lot to the world with their intelligence.

Why or how the Jews so smart, is an old age question. One Chinese professor, tried to answer the question.

A Chinese television station aired an episode showing a conversation between a professor and a girl. The two were discussing the question of why Jews are smart. The girl wanted to know why she is not as smart as the Jewish people.

The professor told the girl: "it's because Jews educate their children while they are still in the womb by doing math puzzles,
thereby educating their kids within the womb.”
The girl was unhappy with the answer. “My mother sang to me before I was born,” she said.

“Jews teach their children three different languages, which is something that helps their intelligence greatly,” the professor said.

“Jewish children speak Hebrew, Arabic and English,” he added. But the girl was not satisfied with the answer as she claimed that she also speaks three languages yet she is not as smart as the Jewish people.

“Well, Jews encourage their children to play the violin or the piano to develop the brain. They compete in sports like archery to improve their concentration abilities,” the professor told her.
The girl responded by showing her award she won as the best harmonica player in her school.

When the professor runs out of answers, he told the curious girl that some studies showed that Jews, have a neurological disease, which causes Jews to be smarter than everyone else.

After hearing this reasoning, the girl got all excited. She pumped her fist and said: “intelligence is a disease, I am not sick!”

The professor may be onto something as he claims that brilliance is in the Jewish DNA.

Islamists kidnap French family of 7 in Cameroon

Village in Cameroon
By: Eva Fett

(Scroll down for video) Radical Islamists have kidnapped a French family on vacation in Cameroon, according to an official statement from the French government.

President Francois Hollande has confirmed that a French family of seven, which include three adults and four children, have been kidnapped in northern Cameroon.

Hollande indirectly suggested that the group Boko Haram may have had a role in the kidnapping on Tuesday. French Minister Laurent Fabius said: “probably it was this sect Boko Haram."

The details of the kidnapping were still unclear.
Hollande, during a visit to Greece, warned French citizens in the region to avoid exposing themselves.

An official close to the French Embassy in Cameroon said that the family is believed to have been taken from northern Cameroon to Nigeria, where on Monday a little known militant group claimed responsibility for the kidnapping of the seven foreigners.

The French army is conducting operations with the Malian army to defeat Islamist fighters who seized the north of the country in recent weeks after a military coup last year. The recent kidnappings have added to fears of instability and danger to the West.

Before Tuesday, there were at least eight French citizens arrested in the region, including at least one that was taken in Nigeria.

An analysis released Monday by a private company based on global intelligence, suggested that the group which claimed responsibility for the kidnapping in Nigeria, Ansaru, had strong ties to al-Qaeda in Maghreb, the African branch of the terror network.
