By: John Roberts

(Scroll down for video) Many people ran outside to see the angel in the sky over Florida, according to video uploaded to the internet.

Many South Florida residents believe they saw an angel in the sky on the day the new pope was named.
Most saw an angel in the clouds and took their cameras to document the vision.

For some, it was a clear sign from heaven, perhaps a message from God himself, showing his satisfaction at the election of the first Latin American pope as the 267th successor to St. Peter.

While most felt that the cloud looked like an angel, and was a beautiful sign from above, others saw the cloud somewhat less angelic.

One woman thought the cloud looked like a monkey from the sea, while another said that he thought it is a non human shape.
Many people shared their pictures showing different angles of the cloud angel.

More than 34,000 people have liked the photo on facebook and hundreds of people have shared their feelings about what it means.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
