A man thought he had enough chicken wings for the rest of his life before the police swooped in to destroy his plan.
A worker at a Connecticut poultry company was arrested and charged with theft related charges after stealing $10,000 in chicken wings along with some other meats.
Police said that recently reviewed surveillance video recordings from County Distributors in South Windsor, showed how Boris Delisser, 43, of Bloomfield, took chicken wings from a storage facility and loaded the loot into a vehicle without a sales transaction.
The detectives investigating the case said that they found Delisser had taken chicken wings and other meat products from the company on several occasions. Police said he stole a total of $10,000 worth of products.
“This guy is silly if he thought that he will be able to get away with stealing a large amount of chicken wings. If he stole a small amount, it might have went unnoticed. Unfortunately, pigs get slaughtered,” Alexis Boles, 48, of New Haven, Connecticut told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the theft.
Delisser was arrested Tuesday on charges of first degree robbery. He was released on $10,000 bail and is due to appear in court next month.
